Ah ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
from the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
The hammer of the gods
Will drive our ships to new lands,
To fight the horde, singing and crying:
Valhalla, I am coming!
On we sweep with threshing oar,
Our only goal will be the western shore.
Ah ah,
We come from the land of the ice and snow,
from the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.
How soft your fields so green,
Can whisper tales of gore,
Of how we calmed the tides of war.
We are your overlords.
On we sweep with threshing oar,
Our only goal will be the western shore.
So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins,
For peace and trust can win the day
Despite of all your losing.

OMG. Led Zeppelin. [flashbacks to high-school ensue]
Now I've got to go play this record or it'll be stuck in my head all day.

I think .build.schleim has one too... or at least it has everything else...
mascot, story etc. so it should have a theme song ;)

Looks rife for the animated LEGO treatment - Im sure a little blutack would
allow you to attach one of
these to one of
these.

Although it's maybe not official, I always hear "Also Sprache Zarathustra" when
first hitting .space. Oddly, it works well in .castle, too, though the
Soundtrack Of My Brain usually plays that triumphant galloping horn/drum music
from Monty Python and the Holy Grail (or the monkchant). The same Soundtrack Of
My Brain plays Arlo's "City of New Orleans" or Josh Turner's "Long Black Train"
when I go over to .trains.
So, nothing official, but my brain has it's own soundtrack for these things.
Peace and Long Life,

For me its Take the Last Train to Clarksville-- the song a group of we train
dudes karaoked at BricksWest at the turn of the century sometime.
IIRC, Dan Jassim (& Bruce L?) did a rousing rendition of Rocket Man. Another
S P A C E classic...

I wonder if .vikings will be the first group to have more off topic posts than

And ride with us young bonny lass ---
with the angels of the night.
Crack wind clatter --- flesh rein bite on an out-size
unicorn.
Rough-shod winging sky blue flight on a cold wind
to Valhalla.
And join with us please --- Valkyrie maidens cry
above the cold wind to Valhalla.
Break fast with the gods. Night angels serve
with ice-bound majesty.
Frozen flaking fish raw nerve ---
in a cup of silver liquid fire.
Moon jet brave beam split ceiling swerve and light
the old Valhalla.
Come join with us please --- Valkyrie maidens cry
above the cold wind to Valhalla.
The heroes rest upon the sighs of Thor's trusty
hand maidens.
Midnight lonely whisper cries,
``We're getting a bit short on heroes lately.''
Sword snap fright white pale goodbyes in the
desolation of Valhalla.
And join with us please --- Valkyrie maidens ride
empty-handed on the cold wind to Valhalla.
