Ok first selcome to the trains of lego.  What you will need to do is first
by a train set which includes everything.  Next if your want to control the
train by RCX visit Matts Train Depot located to you left on the screen.
Here there are train ideas.  The use a lego cataloge to find sets with good
parts and build your own be creative.  If you are going to the RCX
controlled train, you will need to research in depth at the train sites to
your left on the screen.  No one has really gotten into the RCX controlled
train so you may be a pioneer in the subject(to my knowledge)

hope that can help you vist lego.com to order lego sets online.  Or
write/call the lego group for a catolog.
