Great job, well done. Some constructive criticism:
Some of the fields look a bit cramp to me. Approximately how many characters
are available for "Owner Name" before the tail is visualy cut off in the list?
"Country" seems to be a little short also, are we supposed to fill in the
official international abbreviations for country names? For instance: GB for
Great Brittan, F for France, G for Germany, NL for The Netherlands?
To keep the list neat and tidy, I believe you should provide some more
formatting instructions for the users on your site.
I'm thinking about: Skip the character when you fill in the "Sequence
Number", the "Country" and what to do with "State/Provence" in case you're
from outside Australia, USA, Canada and other massive states, should we
leave the field blank or fill in a code meaning "does not apply here" ?
With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen.

Well the updating of the list will be a manual process at this point, so
I'll handle the formatting of the data once it arrives (for now). As this
project takes off I'll probally be adding more of an automated process and
will make the fields a bit more intuitive as the days go by.
I don't know about skipping the character at this point, we don't know
really what the number sceme will be, so the character might be an important
part of the unique number. I figure that more information will be better
than less.
As for the countries, I plan on adding a combo box with country selection to
keep it simple and to keep it consistant.
Thanks for the input, I'll put it all to go use as the week goes on....and I
have time.

Hey JT-
As I was building an 8 wide version of the Super Chief, I got to thinking-- since
my sets will be kit-bashed-- maybe it would be fun to include a place on the
registry as to when the particular SC in question got scrapped:-)

Good idea. Some of mine are gonna be scrapped the day they arrive... (I have
a mind to try an Alco PA ish variant)
Also probably want to correctly credit the Santa Fe "circle plus sign" logo,
the chief drumhead and other decorative material as trade dress of the ATSF
Railway, a predecessor railway of BNSF, as was noted in another thread.

Which brings to mind an interesting point: Is it *really* scrapping if the set never
got built in the first place? (as will be the case with mine) Perhaps I'll have to
buy a third to build for comparison. And perhaps I'll buy another one to keep MIB if
one of the numbers I've bought is particularly collectible.. :-)

You're just trying to make work for me aren't you John? :)
The only problem with setting the Registry up so that you can update your
information is that I would have to have some kind of login system so I know
it's you changing your stuff.
Maybe I can add a check box so you can say if you are planning on building
the engine or "kit bashing" it.
