Thanks. I have no idea how many plates and bricks, but let's say several
hundred right now, maybe a coupe thousand so far, in the incomplete phase.
Tim Courtney uses a multilayer plate technique to form the base of the ship,
and it turns out sturdy, even though it eats plates! : )

This movie would be great in MST 3K. Is that still on the air? It is a
satire of Aliens, 2001, etc. and it is filmed in 1983, if that means
anything to you. Leslie Neilson is in it, along with the lady who played one
of the ladies in Lavurine (SP?) and Shirley (SP?), the dark haried one, not
the K-Mart lady. It is so bad, it's funny.
