and of course my own ButtBuster and Hopper,

I've decided to host another contest :-D

Et in Arcadia Lego HoverThing Contest ;-)

I'll post official rules soon but for now,
here's the idea (so get building)

1) less than 30 studs long (antennae can go outside of the 'box')

2) less than 20 studs wide (had to say it, otherwise, well y'know...)

3) multiple submissions allowed (make a bunch)

4) i will accept all three entries above (you guys) as well as
models that are less than 1 month old

I'll put up a contest page on
Et in Arcadia Lego ( http://lego.panarchy.com )

oh,
and i'll be entering the ButtBuster and Hopper
as disqualified entries (for look-see only, not judging)

wheeeeeeee

Ho-lee crow!  Chrome comes to Space!  ;]  I gotta admit that's
one of the most "uniquest" things I've ever seen.  And even if
it is a little "over the top", that makes it all the more great!

Nothing like a little overkill to bring fun to the contest, eh?  Paul gave a
limit, so I figure I'd push it to its extremes.  It's akin to a podracer, or
one of those land speed record cars, where you have these ridiculously
enormous engines for one little pilot.  Plus, I finally found a groovy use
for those chrome wheel hubs.  That's always a plus.

Thanks. This was one of those models (like many of mine seem to be) where I
start with a single concept or strange piece and just build something from
there.  I started with those 6 hubs in certain configuration, and built the
chassis on top of it until it looked sufficiently comical/fearsome
(depending on your perspective).
