Elizabeth,
It may be very useful to create a table, with columns for these
different programming environments, and then you could have rows for
all the features. That would make it easy for people to help you
fill in the blanks.
You may want to include the NXT software (commonly called NXT-G) ,
RoboLab, and event NI's LabVIEW Toolkit for the NXT.
Some categories would be...
Targets (bricks) supported (RCX/NXT/VEX...)
Firmware (custom/LEGO)
Events (Y/N)
Language type (Graphic/Text-C/Text-Assembly...)
IDE (included?)
OS (which computers can run it)
Speed (this would be a good place to include things like MSVC
requires BT) - I have some tests that I've run that I can give you
very rough data here
