we use superb.net for peeron - they user apache on solaris, and qmail for
their email stuff. they're ok, though, of course, not as good as having
your own box to run.
maybe a bunch of AFOLs should chip in, get a colo and a server, and host our
own sites :)

Err, what's a colo?
Sounds like a cool idea to me. :) Not that I actually *have* a site, or
anything.

colo is a short for "Co-Location" - basicly you pay someone to put your box
on a rack, and get a network connection. maybe someone who can reset the
box for you sometimes, but little else. our box, we admin it, just pay for
the rack space and the network traffic...

Can I get a :p in too?
That page references this link
http://www.ldraw.org/download/default.htm
which appears to be kaput...
PS: thanks for the BFC info, that's why I followed the link, to freshen my
copy of LDAO so I can get the yinyang for my own self. My copy is too old to
have it.

Hi Slashdot. You know, since they swamped your old host, maybe they
should host you until you find a new one. 8^)

Yey! I noticed earlier today when a Co. worker and I discussed LEGO
and Slashdot.
Very impressive, I'll have to take a more indepth look later on.
And it's also a good site to show my g/f when she claims *I* have a
LEGO addiction problem .)
