   Hello,

The Blackhawk is finally ready for new adventures.
This is 17-century heavy galleon, equipped with 7 sails, 8 cannons and 10 people of crew.
In the sterncastle there’s captain’s room, which can be pulled out by the back wall to acces the lower level, where mess and cabooze are located. In the forecastle there’s 1st mate’s room and bo’man store. I’ve added rescue boat, working compass and other details.
Please, take a look at pictures in my gallery:

...and tell me, what do you think.
More informations about this vessel and other creations you can find at my website:

Ahoy,

Nice work!

The shaping of the sterncastle is very nice.

You’ve captured some great detail in this vessel... it’s always good to be able to access the interior (and it’s something that I don’t provide for in many of my vessels).

I’m not too sure about the rigging of the lateen sail... IIRC the arm should be balanced on the mast, and the sail should be moveable (not rigged to the backstay). Nevertheless, it does look very nice!

A very nice little ship. The sterncastle and rudder assembly has very nice lines and those swivel guns amidships are well done. The masts and sails are also well done.

I do think the catheads seem a little too long but such a minor nit, not really worth picking.

Just echoing everyone else's comments - its beautiful!  The sterncastle is
particularly well realised, as are the curves round the front (am I allowed to
say 'front' in here?).
It blows everything else out of the water!  (ahahaha)

With all the imperial powers flexing their naval muscles, its getting hard for
an honest pirate to make a living... have to do something about that... :)

I neglected to include the fuzzy pic that best shows the sterncastle from 7075...

Ahoy!

32 guns? Nice work getting so many guns in!

And very nice work on the sterncastle... I’ll swing the old spyglass onto her shortly!

Cheers
