This is magnificent! Youve really captured the monitor look well.
I love the turret (and the guns, of course). Really impressed with the tackle
for the boats too.
Is there a wheel? (I couldnt spot one, but my knowledge of such vessels is
sketchy).
And that expanse of deck is to be envied.

The ships wheel was below deck in the engine room, see photo NH 59444:

The observer in the armored pill box on top of the turret. Would callout info
down to the Captain who would order the engine room...

The RTN is proud to announce the RTS LEGITOR a single-turret seagoing
monitor.
Modeled on the Passaic Class Monitors.

Kurt,
It seems like just a few weeks ago I was wondering why I couldnt find any good
MOCs of Civil War era (and later) ironclads, and voila, you post one.
This is great, Id like to see it in person.
Thanks,
George

I am surprised no one has asked about the hull, or the small greenish thing near

So, is that a Red Beard Runner hull (extended) hiding under the snot work?
The snot slopes really deliver a good hull curve. And nicely done with the
integration of the studs up deck to the studs foward bow.
And the small greenish thing... the head?
