I guess I should have posted this here, instead of the mailing list...
Anyway, here's a copy of what I sent to the mailing list...
<-------------------------------snip here--------------------------------->
Hmmm, I'm definitely interested in WWII Brikwars, and the all night marathon
session is pretty enticing too. My wife's interest in Lego only goes as far as
to encourage my sickness, but she loves gaming, so she'd be interested in
playing as well. That brings me to the sticky issue; my wife would be jealous
if I went and played Brikwars without her, but my daughter needs to go to
bed around 8PM, and I don't know that our babysitter would be available to
stay at our house until whenever we get home early into the morning (not to
mention the cost!) So, the logical conclusion is that I offer to host this
shindig. We have a great big finished basement, and if I reorganized the
couches, which I am currently using to divide the room into two "conceptual"
rooms, there would be tons of room to have two (or more) folding tables side
by side in the center of the room to provide a playing surface. I don't have
any recent pics, but I have one from before we moved into the house which
would give a basic idea of the size...

The only drawback, as some of you with good memories will have
anticipated, is that I live in Holden, which is about 5 minutes north of
Worcester, which is a bit of a trek for most of you.

PS. I was told to entice you to make the journey not only for the chips, salsa,
gallons of caffeinated soda, and other standard all-night-gaming-affair-foods,
but for chocolate chip cookies as well. It's worth a try...

| Well hello, Folks! New England will be graced by the presence of one Lindsay Frederick Braun [1] in two weeks, during which time he will be available from Friday night to Saturday mid-afternoon for a LEGO event (January 18th-19th). I'd really like (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)
