i apologize if this is off topic, as this is my first post on lugnet.
i had to share this (although i waited until i had made my purchases
first).
kbtoys, beaverton oregon, off 185th (acrossed from pizza schmizza) is offering
the following sets in a 3/$5 deal (there appears to be no limit, as i have
purchased about 18 sets):
1246 - helicopter
1247 - patrol car
1248 - fire boat
1249 - tri-motorbike
1250 - dragster
1251 - go cart
#'s 1250, and 1251 include shell torsoes, and shell stickers.
as of 12:30 PDT friday (sorry, took a while to get my posting privs approved),
they still had about 50 sets in stock. they are located near the cash register.
hope this is useful to someone, i know there are other lego fans around here
(i've been to the beaverton mall pnltc display).
