Today (Tuesday 19 Sep) the Swedish TV-program "Hjärnkontoret" ("Brain
Office"?) showed quite a bit of Mindstorms robots.
It was from the University of Aarhus (Denmark), where Henrik Lund (did I get
the name right?) showed a lot of robots. Very impressive were he football
players, and the football field! A _lot_ of minifig spectators all around the
arena, and they could even do "The Wave"!
Also shown were some robots traversing a maze (painted on the ground), and
some robots that could "make faces" at you.
Of course, the _most_ impressive thing (for me, at least) was the supplies of
Lego pieces - I wish I had that supply, and a lot of time...
For the Swedes that missed it: You can see it again Sep 29.

Jo, men jag har slutat läsa den gruppen, så det föll mig inte in att den

Hi
I have tried to order the Killer Mindstorms Robots book by Gordon McComb for
some time,
only to get the order cancelled several times (both Amazon and B&N).
Now it appears that Amazon has it - but only via a reseller that will not ship
internationally.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

I've contacted McGraw-Hill and they've cancelled the book, so that would be
why your orders have been cancelled. Strange that both Amazon and B&N have
not been able to tell you this - took me all of 2 mins to ring McGraw-Hill
and ask them. And now for the plug - if you have hassle with Amazon, or

I see that book is also listed on Half.Com, although only USA "Media Mail" is
listed as a shipping option. You can click on "detail" and "ask the seller a

In Legoland Billund there is a model of a soccer stadium with a small TV
screen showing the minifigs doing the "The Wave" too (how do you call it in
english ?).
