First of all...
I want to start by thanking Dave Koudys for all the work he has done over the
last two years with planning and organising the Hobby Show. His efforts have
been outstanding and allowed many of us the pleasure of displaying our MOCS in
“our own backyard”. Each year has been an impressive display of our local
talent. Deeply appreciated David.
Dave, Allan Bedford (the first year organiser) and I, are pleased to announce
that the show organising will return to Allan and I will continue my joint
effort in assisting, allowing Dave to concentrate on the Train Show organising
he already and continues to do.
I am very excited and pleased to invite you to participate in the Hobby Show,
this Nov 3rd 4th and 5th, located in Toronto at the International Centre.
We; the “Ontario Brick Builders Assc.” (name pending) are going to be displaying
again this year.
Please consider this your formal invitation to join us.
So... if you are an adult builder located within driving distance to the
International Centre, please mark your calendar now, and start building
whatever you want to display.
We are going to make this year a bit more of an “event” instead of just
displaying, with a few fun building activities. So if BrickFest is too far for
you to travel, or you have ever been interested in the local building scene,
this is your chance to come see what we are all about.
Looking forward to seeing familiar faces, and hoping to see new faces as well.
There will be a more detailed post of what will be going on and how you can get
involved the first week of September.
