  Lego Movie Maker Kit seen first hand!
 
I saw the thing today, in person at the LEGO Media Booth at E3. It is pretty cool! The guy demo'ing it said that it came with over 300 pieces, and from what I saw it looked like a city street that had been taken over by a minifig movie-crew - and a (...) (24 years ago, 14-May-00, to lugnet.general) !

From looking at the online material about the Kit I was left with a question about the camera that perhaps you can answer from having seen it demonstrated. To me it looks like you have to have the camera hooked into your USB port to work. I saw it (...) (24 years ago, 14-May-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) Yes, from what I saw the camera does need to be connected to the PC by a 15' USB cable. I also asked if the editing software could be used to output to FireWire, the guy said he wasn't quite sure.... I think it is a QuickCam VC, so there (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.general)
