As long as this thread is being revived, I might as well 'publish' an idea I'm
developing...

I decided to develop this and am currently working on my Sorceress' character

I'm debating with myself whether to give her some hair, a black wizard hat, or
to paint a hat pink. Hmmm... tough decision. Although I have experimented with
some minor customizations, I haven't let paint come near my lego yet. Not to
mention I don't feel totally comfortable customized the holy Brick <grin>.
It seems to me like, in a lot of cases, painting is the easy way out (unless
you do extremely out there things that simply can't be acheived without
modifying a piece) when other alternatives can be used (like mixing-and-
matching arms and legs from existing pieces).
Well, this is getting o-t... (or is it?)

Hey, I actually hit the 3000th post to .castle without even trying!
Cool!
Congratulations on reaching this! I really love this group and hope we keep
going at this rate, soon we'll catch up with Robotics, Trains and Star Wars!
(After all, the SW excitement will die off, it is reducing as we speak.
.trains is already weakening, and soon will even weaken even more since TLC
will probably stop producing trains. Robotics traffic is already slowing
down... But the classy and classic Castle theme will get stronger every day!)

Paint some hair pink. 8) (Or is that too anime?) I think a black wizard hat
would make her look a little odd, unless you were going to do black clothing
with pink highlights. Then again a pink hat might be a little much too...
I'd have to say, go for the hair...or possibly some other form of hat?

Come over to the dark side...let Craig show you the way...I painted my
Dragoons and it hasn't hurt me...I can still use 'normal' LEGO...>8)

I actually considered that for a point. Either that, or I'll paint some hair
white. (But then I'll need two versions, as she appears both in the present
and the past parts of my story...)

I can't think of any other that would fit, and definitely not in the current
colors available.

;-) Craig has definitely showed me the way, and encouraged me as well... but
I'm having my doubts... I don't see light in the end of that (dark) tunnel,
and that makes me wonder if I should even go there...
I'm in a metaphorical mood today, I guess... or maybe simply over-tired... :-)
