Hello all,

My newest MOC at the moment is my new Tailor’s Shop. I finally put in some Tudor style and also made a leaning roof (is that what you call it?). Enjoy!

The shop.

Interior. The tailor’s workshop is the top floor and a scribe pal writes a paper of all the customers who want appointments.

PLMKWYT!

Thanks,

Dean

Hi Dean,

Your Tailor’s Shop looks great. I like the stone base and tudor construction. The rounded windows are nice too. The roof is steep and would look good as a row of houses. It makes me think that this is only half of the building :) I would think that the shops would be on the ground floor and living quarters above. Overall this is a very nice moc!

Ben

PLMKWYT!

Dean,

You have a nice creation there. I like a number of the details you included, the rubber band for a measuring tape, the shirts along the wall, the dragon plume for a quill, all very good.

As you work on your next one, some ideas that might help: With the tudor... maybe give more spacing between the tibers. Atleast in a few spots. With the roof, while the stepped/slope look is unique (and nice) you could try giving it a little more character by using some corner slopes or mixing it up in some way (dormers are always neat). Also if the second floor overhanged the first by a bit, that seems to add a certain something to a house of this era.

Anyways, please don’t take my comments as discouraging, I hope they just offer some ideas for your next creation. Thanks for sharing.
