Hi,
I uploaded the LDraw-Model of a new Space Police (II) vessel to my
website:

<http://florianhaag.name/en/ldraw/space.htm#pSP2>

I was trying to create something like a B-17 "Flying Fortress" for
space - a vessel that has guns at every possible location with some
crowded internal space.
This starship has five crewmen (and can only take few more minifigs),
some tools inside and several computers to control the ship functions.
Note the moveable guns on the starboard and port side right behind the
cockpit as well as the retractable ventral gun. The ceiling can be
opened to allow a view into the ship, but minifigs are supposed to
actually just get in through the cockpit canopies and the two octagonal
hatches behind the wings.
In case you wonder - it's not supposed to look smooth and streamlined.
I originally intended to give this ship two storeys, but the ventral
gun ended up taking too much internal space in its retracted state to
allow for this. Instead, there are some stairs/ladders and one corridor
through the whole ship, which might give the interior some kind of a
"submarine feeling".
As always, if someone who has the parts happens to build this (armada
scenarios with many different ship types, anyone?), I'd be glad about
receiving a note that confirms it doesn't fall apart once built, as
LDraw doesn't automatically check that ;-)

Regards,
Florian
