Announcing...

The .vignette curators are hereby sponsoring the First Joe Vig contest! Build a “Joe Vig” vignette based on the Rules below and enter! Use your creativity and have some fun with Joe Vig!

What:

Who is Joe Vig, you ask? Well, he is the unluckiest and most oblivious minifig ever created. Joe has no clue of what’s going on in the area just around him! He is also electro-magnet for bad luck, and never quite seems to know what’s about to happen... unfortunately, it’s usually just about to happen to him! Build a vignette featuring our Joe Vig character, and show us how oblivious he really is!

Note: While this is a vignette MOC, it is NOT a Joe Vig vignette:

Joe Vig is oblivious, not dead.

When:

The contest will begin on Wednesday, June 1st, 2005 and end on Friday, July 15th, 2005. Contest winners will be announced ASAP thereafter.

Prizes:

If there are 20 or more total entries, we will be giving out prizes! Prizes will be awarded to the top (4) winning entries. The prizes are new, MISB sets:

2.
Entries must be made via posts to http://news.lugnet.com/build/vignette, not to any other website, forum, or newsgroup. Posts must be made by the actual builder, not by another person, so please post only your own MOCs. Also, please title your posts as “Joe Vig Contest Entry - (Name of Vignette) so we’ll be sure to see it.

Your vignette must have a maximum base-size of 8x8 studs... with no height limitation. Parts can extend beyond the base, but not by more than 4 studs.

4.
The Joe Vig minifig must be made as described on The Joe Vig Page, and made clearly visible in at least 1 photo. No partial Joe Vigs minifigs (e.g. missing his legs), please.

There will be a limit of (1) prize per person.

13.
Prize winners must provide their mailing addresses to the curators via email.

14.
The contest is open to EVERYONE, and we will pay for shipping the prizes to the winners within the United States. If the winner lives outside of the USA, they will have to pay the difference between the actual shipping cost and the cost to ship the prize within the USA.

15.
The contest will be judged by the .vignette curators, who are ineligible in this contest. Therefore, you have a much better chance of winning! :)
