Good morning ladies and gentlemen. We have some great products to show you today. Oh, and one more thing...

At an Apple Keynote session, Steve Jobs’s breaks out his reality distortion field and takes hold of the audience for an hour or so. I decided to create a LEGO version of Jobs on stage, releasing wonderful products in a mystical way...

This is my first vignette post, so comments are greatly appericiated! Also, my apologies for the fuzzy pictures. ;)

The Apple logo was made using some white plates. A simple design. I used the special tooth-piece for the apple stem. It was the only thing that looked good enough.

The Steve Jobs minifig was based off of the PodBrix.com Jobs figure. A plain, black turtle neck with a pair of jeans. The look of a bohemian artist.

Usually at an Apple Keynote session, Jobs has a computer or two set up off to the side, as they control what is happening on the big screen. In this case, I made an iMac G5 with an iSight attached to the top of the computer. To the side are some water bottles that are present at a typical keynote. The circular 1x1 piece next to the keyboard represents a mouse.

The stage was constructed a lot of plates. A simple yet effective design.

Comments are greatly appericiated! :)

Daniel

(...) Daniel, good to see you online! I like this vignette (alothough as you poined out, the photos aren't very strong) Nice work on the Apple logo, and also on the computer and iSight. The most important thing on a vignette is to make a setting in (...) (18 years ago, 7-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)
