I’ve been pondering the idea for an Ozumo (Sumo) vignette for awhile now, and
with Mike’s technique, this has now happily come to be. Not only is this a
vignette of Sumo in general, but it is also a tribute to one of the greatest
Sumo wrestlers of all time (and my personal favorite), Chiyonofuji.
“Ozumo Digest” was one of my favorite TV shows when I was young. Many great
sumotori (wrestlers) have come from Hawaii (my State): Takamiyama, Akebono,
Konishiki, Musashimaru, etc.
I honor these athletes, and all sumotori - past and present, with this MOC.
