Totally cool!  The 1x1 rounds work beautifully as scales.  The pectoral fins
are great too!

Any future plans to do the sides as well?  I'd love to see some close-ups of
the tail too.

Well, just for look see.
Thought i'd post a link to a sculpture I completed not too long ago.

Japanese Kohaku Koi with the Sandan pattern
http://brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=65489

MOC is roughly 3 1/2 ft in length. It has probably the right body mass • size for
a real koi of mature age, of 25-35 years at a full length close to 36+ • inches.
The top is covered completely by 1x1 round plates in either white, oramge • trans
orange, or clear. The majority being clear.

It is hollow, and the idea, was that it would be part of a display much • like
something modeled at any LL theme park.

comments welcome...
Regards!
