Greetings.

You may or may not remember Sergeant Destroy from last year.

Well, I figured he needed a sidekick, so here it is -

folder when moderated

It’s Private Porkrind. Not the brightest fellow on the block, but then he is only two years old. He does have brute strength and an almost fanatical devotion to his sarge in his favour though.

The inspiration for this fellow was two parts Gamorrean Guard and one part Obelix.

Next, the Sarge needs an arch-nemesis...

Please enjoy,

Allister

Nice build! It’s always challenging to build a MOC in this scale, but I think you’ve captured the look of the Pig (or Gamorrean) quite well. Indeed, he looks quite “Boar-ed”...

Good use of the Dinosaur parts in this MOC - but, why the lack of a (Pig) tail?

Looking forward to it... (or him... or her)!

Cheers,

“Big Daddy” Nelson

Very nice. I first looked at this picture, and thought that the face was out of proportion, because I thought that his nostrils were supposed to be his eyes. (In that first pic the right eye is hidden behind the nose, and a tusk covers the left eye.) Then I looked at the pic with his mouth open, and I realized his true face. (BTW, what a darling little 2 year old you have.)

I really like the whole overall build; the dino bodies in the arms, the SNOT on the torso, the clown feet and the ax--they’re all well done.

Outstanding! You continue to move this scale forward. Very inspiring.

I liked this so much, I voted for it at Brickvention 06. The undersides of slopes don’t get enough decorative duty ! Lots of details around the back as well.

Curses. You’re right. I’ll try and add one.

Thanks Nelson.

I hope you’re patient. Probably take me another 6 months to get to it...

Thanks Linus. I really enjoy trying to render a cartoony face out of lego.

Hmmm. Didn’t notice that. Apologies for any inconvenience ;)

Thanks Felix. Actually, most of my mecha builds are around this scale, it’s just with these figures I’m free from the constraint of trying to fit a minifig in there, and I don’t need to bother with all that tedious research in trying to replicate some anime robot. Not that I don’t like anime, I’m just too lazy to look stuff up.

Ah, you were the one :) Thanks Pete. It still didn’t get enough votes to topple your tower though. Maybe I should’ve made a six foot tall version.

Thanks again everyone,

Allister
