New MOC: M-12 Mobile Weapons Platform (MWP) —Mladen Pejic
(URL) Click on Image Well, so this it. My fifth Mobile Platform. Sigh, I wish I was more excited, but after almost four years of building them I feel like moving on to something different. Aha! But that's what the year 2004 is for; a new objective (...) (20 years ago, 20-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

Re: New MOC: M-12 Mobile Weapons Platform (MWP) —Soren Roberts
n»MDu make brown look gooood. This is probably the closest you've come to the Appleseed Mobile Platforms, in design terms, and I love it. Currently the cute little 30mm under the chin is my favorite weapon; after all that big nasty railgun (...) (20 years ago, 20-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: M-12 Mobile Weapons Platform (MWP) —Mladen Pejic
(...) Haha... I *so* agree with you on that; machineguns never get boring. :-) Thanks Soren. (...) Yeah, you're right again. What can I say, I'm a man of compromise; I had to make do with the only trans elements I had enough of. Brown is definitely (...) (20 years ago, 21-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: M-12 Mobile Weapons Platform (MWP) —Mark Mueller
Wow! Mladen, you have definitely mastered the walking tank. And, the sensor pod. I may have to steel that vision block, if you don't mind? Looking forward to your next MOC. -Captain John “aka Mark Mueller” Founder and Chairman of StarBrew Brewing (...) (20 years ago, 22-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: M-12 Mobile Weapons Platform (MWP) —Jason Coronado
(...) i'm going to have to agree with you: you've definately done quite a few walking tanks in your time, and i also look forward to seeing something new. HOWEVER, this latest mecha is yet another example of your expertise with lego mech-building. (...) (20 years ago, 22-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) -snip- (...) Yep. (...) Thanks Jason. (...) Yah, I know what you mean. Maybe it's cause they're pushed back so much; they just don't project menacing enough. :-) (...) Thanks, and I hope to deliver on my promise of more original stuff in 2004. (...) (20 years ago, 24-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: M-12 Mobile Weapons Platform (MWP) —Eric Sophie
(...) ....snip (...) Hey cool MWP, Loaded with cool peices. Very "utlilitarian". I like the details and the electronic sight on the top is very cool. I always like it when you make one of these. Hey the model looks really solid. Is it really beefy? (...) (20 years ago, 27-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

I used a lot of interlocking plates and bricks in the inner structure; it's very rigid. The feet are also (...) (20 years ago, 28-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: M-12 Mobile Weapons Platform (MWP) —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) Mladen, This is another absolute triumph in 'mech design, no doubt about it. I agree with everyone on the joy of the details--the sensor pod/mast, the measured utilitarian "ugliness" that screams of military function, and all the attention put (...)         Re: New MOC: M-12 Mobile Weapons Platform (MWP) —Keith Goldman
Mladen, this 5th MWP is epic! The guns...its all about the guns... the machine gun in front is the money, and the leg-mounted rockets look ready to deal some death. As usual, the color scheme is distinctly your style. The brown elements really (...) (20 years ago, 28-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: M-12 Mobile Weapons Platform (MWP) —Mladen Pejic
(...) LOL! You (along with Eric) always give the best replies. Thanks Keith! I'm glad this model is epic. And yep, the little chin-gun is all "money" baby. Also, I do wish I could put this model in some diorama, but my collection isn't large enough (...) (20 years ago, 28-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
