I present the all-apocryphal UNSC Gopher, a all-purpose light combat mech chock
full of armaments. Technical specifications to follow as soon as I make them
up. About 9 points of articulation plus the windscreen, I can tell you that
much.
Enjoy!

I present the apocryphal bUNSC Wildebeest/b, a heavy-duty assault mech, not
too pretty but tough in the clinches. Technical specifications to follow as
soon as I make them up. About 11 points of articulation including the
windscreen.
You might also notice that this design incorporates an older style of of limb
articulation, owing to material shortages and a lack of ball-and-socket joints.
Thanks for looking!

I present the all-apocryphal UNSC Bullfrog, a well-armored forward assault
mech.
Technical specifications to follow as soon as I make them up.
About 9 points of articulation plus the windscreen & buzzsaw, I can tell you
that much.
Thanks for looking!

I present the apocryphal UNSC Gazelle, a light-duty anti-infantry mech.
Technical specifications to follow as soon as I make them up.
About 13 points of articulation plus the windscreen, I can tell you that much.

I present the apocryphal UNSC Kodiak, a medium-duty combat and utility mech.
Technical specifications to follow as soon as I make them up. About 13 points of
articulation plus the windscreen, I can tell you that much.
Not thrilled with the first two pics, but I figured Id include them anyway.
Enjoy!

has anyone done a study/webpage of ideas for large mecha hand designs?
i'm looking for something between two and three bricks high. fingers don't
necessarily have to splay or even flex (a good fist design is acceptable).
the obvious answer is just to browse the web and check out all the mechs but i
thought i'd check here first to see if anyone has built a page around various
ideas for hands/fists.

Hello Eric,
I saw the thumbnail on brickshelf the other day and imediately recognized
your style! Although this is different to your older builts it's still
recognizably your style.
Great work. Glad you build again.
Cheers

Looking good! Im getting an odd architectural vibe off this one, which suits
the mechs to be honest. Ive always had trouble visualizing a mech based future,
but works like these go a long way to grounding the whole genre. Maybe Im just
too stubborn of a castle lad... Thanks for sharing!
God Bless (as always),
Nathan

What a gas! I like-ur-slopes. That is the biggest view screen I've seen in a
Mech Pilot's cockpit. LoL the kitty's, the wacky colors! Good luck with your
entry! Fine construction. Hey if you ever make another, get the feet to rotate
horizontally, helps add to the way it poses out when the feet can pivot outwards
slightly. Again, fun to see thanks! Fine photos too!

Ive just completed my first mecha build ever. It is the OTOMech Model TK-MM
and is the brainchild of the industrial design unit of ToT-LUG Industries and it
is the first mech to come out of the up-and-coming design house. Weighing in at
roughly 100 tons, it is designed as a mid-sized walker designed to support a
ground attack. The walker stands roughly 35 feet high and can achieve ground
speeds of up to 24 km/hr in transit mode. In primary attack mode, speeds are
slightly lower due to diversion of power from the main drive unit to the
auxiliary weapons and countermeasures systems.
I have never built a mech before, but I got assigned the category in the first
round of the 2009 MOCOlympics. As I was sketching out various ideas for this, I
felt I needed to try something that nobody else had ever done. It needed to be
something that would defy the traditional mech genre. The OTOMech Model TK-MM
represents my girlish side that enjoys things like fashion, shopping, and
Shojo manga. Thanks to Mark Larson for the Fabuland Armored Guard Lab and
Unit-design Group power brick.
