Great tutorial!

The second image down on the left demonstrates prying apart two same-size plates
by using two separators. It is also possible to do it with only one separator
and two additional plates. Just stack the extra plates like stairs, then put the
stuck plates on the "step." This creates a one-plate height difference that the
separator can use for leverage. Not sure how to easily illustrate that, but I
find it much more convenient to be able to use a single separator, since I
almost never have two separators in the same place.

Ascii art (which won't quite preview correctly, but maybe it'll get the point
across):

|_  /
+|/
# O O O

Seen from the side, where "+" and "#" are 1x2 plates,
"O O O" is a 2x3 plate, and "X X X X" is a 2x4 plate.

Nice one Philo! (...) This one: (URL) just hold the single separator in hand and use the thumb to press away the bottom 1 x n Works like a charm and can be done with one hand and one separator. (21 years ago, 11-Sep-03, to lugnet.build)
