    Brick Separator tutorial —Philippe Hurbain
Chatting with LEGO friends, I realized that even seasoned LEGO builders often ignore all the possibilities of the Brick Remover... Here is a (URL) little tutorial on this cute device>. (URL) Enjoy ! (URL) Philo> PS: If someone knows other usages, (...) (21 years ago, 10-Sep-03, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.build, FTX) !

Re: Brick Separator tutorial —Tim Courtney
(...) Also, you can cut them in half (would require two separators, as some excess plastic gets taken away in the saw blade) to get to plates stuck in corners. I haven't done this but I imagine a guide built out of bricks and a hobby saw would do (...) (21 years ago, 10-Sep-03, to lugnet.build, FTX)

RE: Brick Separator tutorial —Ralph Hempel
(...) I made one out of "old" LEGO parts that I no longer like and glued up a brick separator for this kind of job. Why cut up and ruin a perfectly good brick separator when you can your recycle old LEGO with tooth marks and scratches :-) Ralph (21 years ago, 10-Sep-03, to lugnet.build)

(...) ... (...) I wasn't aware that you could use it to remove tiles until I saw Frank Filz doing just that. Cary (21 years ago, 10-Sep-03, to lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) Hmm, a few things: - You _can_ use a brick separator to remove a jumper from the middle of a large plate or baseplate, you just have to be a little careful. - You _can_ use a brick separator to remove a large plate from the middle of a large (...)          Re: Brick Separator tutorial —Jordan Bradford
(...) Ha! I knew that one! It's especially useful when you have a bunch of tiles grouped together and can't bend whatever's underneath them to pop them off. I like to put tiles between train tracks, for instance, when I'm creating road crossings or (...) (21 years ago, 10-Sep-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: Brick Separator tutorial Jake McKee
(...) I was really surprised how many kids on the summer Road Show have been using them as part of creations. I've seen many creatures (beavers, rabbits, birds) that all use them. Very amazing.         Re: Brick Separator tutorial —Rick Clark
(...) <snip> (...) Great tutorial! The second image down on the left demonstrates prying apart two same-size plates by using two separators. It is also possible to do it with only one separator and two additional plates. Just stack the extra plates (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: Brick Separator tutorial —Tobbe Arnesson
Nice one Philo! (...) This one: (URL) just hold the single separator in hand and use the thumb to press away the bottom 1 x n Works like a charm and can be done with one hand and one separator. (21 years ago, 11-Sep-03, to lugnet.build)

Re: Brick Separator tutorial —Philippe Hurbain
(...) Thanks Tobbe ;o) (...) I do that too when I can't put my hand on a second separator (I'm rather messy). But I try to avoid that as I have soft thumbs ! Philo (21 years ago, 11-Sep-03, to lugnet.build)
