Oooh, now that is nice j0n. About time we got to see her in detail. I loe how at some angles you are thinking, WTF letter is that, but then with your overhead inset pic, you say, "ahhhhhh, I seee". And the orange + dark grey is one of the best (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

This is my favorite one yet. Not only do orange and dk grey work every time, you did the color scheme in a very SWish sort of way, whatever that means. :-) Also dig the landing gear (yoink) and the akward angles the wings take while still looking (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) than the last. I really like the landing gear, subtle greebling and overall studlessness. The way the ship balances on the 3 gear allowing the cockpit to float is very much like my Albatross, and I really like that look. You've probably (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: K

GAKK!! Oh man...I can't even start. For me, the biggest challenge of the build is to try and create lines that operate outside of the X,Y axis, yet still work. To me, this view exemplifies success: (URL) can't get over how good that looks. Just (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Awesome work, Jon-- really top notch colour choice, detail, and construction. Never ceases to amaze me, this one. stuart (21 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  O', K!

wow dk grey and orange is nice cockpit reminds me of my triumvirae (which you claim to like) the use of 3D angles keeps it from looking like a flat letter K like some of the other alphabet ships do. That design evolution is phenomenal. Way to do (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)
  Re: K

Jon I like that very much, the design is very different. I think this is hands down your best alpha SO FAR! I can't wait to see the rest. I do hope that you keep all these together so you can take to conference and show them all off. You don't (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Jon, Great job as always! I really dig the landing gears, but what happened to the specs of this ship? Regards, ACPin & Sons (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

well, on taking a second look i have a request. show us some construction pics of the central joints that hold the engines, engine shafts, and wings together. i really like the angles on this one but how did you make them? more pics, plz :-D -paul (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Very nice. I've always been a fan of your "series" (the N is my favorite) but just recently got to be able to post, so... Anyway, I like the wheel-and-binocs combo, works very well despite the difference in curvature. (21 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)
