Hi!

This is my first posting here on Lugnet, although I am already member for a slightly longer time. I moved from Germany to the Netherlands, so it was time to get deeper into the history and culture of my new home country. Since I visited the Mauritshuis in The Haag I was and still am very impressed by the painting “The Anatomy Lecture of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp” by Rembrandt van Rijn. Inspired by this fabulous artwork I rebuilt it in Lego.

Ooh, excellent recreation, Barbara! When I first got my hands on one, I had the same thought about how that baby bib would make a great Renaissance era collar.
