Batch 2. I tried to mix things up a little more this time with shape of the
pub, making the L was fun and created an interesting roof line. Also with the
little shop I had to get creative with my pieces to actually make a building in
that light blue.

I like the pub alot Jason, the use of the steep inv slopes at the edges
works well, as does the lower roof pitch at the front.
nice work . thanks for sharing

Both very nice. But the pubs shape, color, and the occasional darker grey
really make this a great MOC. Your work makes me want to build! Thats the best
compliment I can give.

Thank you very much. That really is a high compliment. Those occasional darker
grey bricks were borrowed straight from Jon Furmans creations.

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Hey Jason,
These are very nice buildings. I like the L shaped one the best. I especially
like the stepped roof line. Do the buildings have interiors? If so, do they
open up? Anyway, just wanted to say that they look good! Jon Furman

Thanks. I lucked out with that stepped roof line. It just sorta happened while
I was building and I thought it looked pretty good, so I just went with it.
Im sorry to say that the buildings do not have interiors. I had very little
time to finish these up for a show this past weekend, so I skipped those details
completely. I am still pumped about building some more of these shops, so I
will most likely slow it down and try to add some interiors with the next ones.

That looks great.....!!!!!
The roof of the L-house is a very good idea.... I will try something like this
.... ;-)
Your style is great... I like the colors and the stone pattern....
with your last six houses you could build a great provincial town....
Thanks for sharing

Doing a corner building was a treat. The bricks really make a nice roof, now if
we could only get those pieces straight from LEGO instead of Bricklink, we do
lots more of those.

Those houses were indeed part of a little village this past weekend (pictures
and report to be posted soon) and they seemed to go over quite well with the
crowd. Thanks for your comments.

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Hi Jason,
I like both of these buildings especially the pub. Using the ell shape is
creative. The white 2x2 windows and timber frame make the buildings seem to be
on a minifig scale. Everything is very Furmanesque; my apologies Jon ;) These
are great buildings!

I am very suprised at how small these buildings turned out. They seem plenty
big next to the minifigs, but I compare them to my town creations and they seem
puny. Still I will probably continue in the same scale... it makes my bricks go
farther. Thanks for the compliments. Jon was a big inspiration in these.
