| | | | What can I say, that looks fantastic! modular within the model itself and
modular in the sense of joining with the Cafe Corner. If this is just the start
of a new section at LEGO Factory I can hardly wait to see what is coming next
(after I buy a couple of Market Streets. )
Is it just me or will 2007 turn out to be the beginning of a new golden age? OK,
maybe a little over the top but still the quaility of the sets that have been or
will be released this year is fantastic.

It looks pretty good; I am impressed that Lego has gone back to the basics and
provided sets that are designed so you can build... buildings! It seems that
for a while the sets were becoming too specialized. Now all they have to do is
make some new style window parts. It looks like this set may be smaller and less
expensive than the Corner Cafe.

I have some ideas for a new LEGO Window System:
Start with a 1x1 headlight brick. Change the front stud into a square, maybe
with a transparent insert. The bottom lip should not be rectangular, make it
sloped instead. Now you have the basic shape for all the NEW 1x1x1, 1x1x2,
1x2x1, 1x2x2, 1x3x2.... windows :-)

Congrats to Eric on the honor and being a great builder!
I, for one, am very excited about the direction things are going in. Im not
even a town fan and have found myself compelled to buy these sets. It wasnt
that long ago I used to peruse the toy aisle with a deep sigh. These days Im
very excited.
Lest I be accused of being an Ambassador apologist I still think there are a
fair number of issues to work out. My Sea Monkeys cried when they saw the new
aliens in the upcoming space sets. But at least now we have some indication
that those complaints will be heard.

Ok, I saw photos of this set last month and was under the impression that this
was going to be sold in the LEGO stores as an exclusive LEGO item. I was also
told that we should expect this in 2 months or so. I know the stores got the
Hobby Train displays but they have never showed up for sale in the stores. Are
these items coming to the stores for sale?
Eric has created a great set that will stretch our imagination with ways to
expand our train layouts. Thank you, Eric, and thank you LEGO Group for
listening. You are getting better and 2007 is turning out to be a great year.
I love the use of the dark earth tone colors in the sets.

Are there any higher-resolution pictures available of this set? Is there an
estimated price yet?

I wonder if the new set (and the Cafe Corner) are compatible with these MOCs:
