I get my lugnet news through email for the few groups Im interested in. Thing
is, FTX tends to mangle links slightly. Would it be possible to run messages
through an HTML filter before sending them out? For those that prefer speed over
beauty, it could be an option (HTML on/off).
A neat, but maybe uneccesary extra could be a reply to this post link at the
bottom that directs you to the relevant web interface window.

How about if the FTX-to-HTML filter is run at the time of posting, rather than at the time of rendering, and it could be stored on the NNTP server as a multipart/alternative with 3 parts: FTX, HTML, and a plain-text version (generated from the (...) (20 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.suggestions, FTX)
