| (...) I think this is made difficult because the top stories list (and much of the front page I think?) is cached, and re-generated regularly, to reduce server load. RFC 1738 says that space characters are not valid HTTP URL components; lexical scanners are therefore supposed to halt a URL production when they read (...)
