Folks, Does anyone have any recommendations for how to build a functioning trebuchet that is minifig scale? I have tried it several times and it always comes out too large. The other issue I have is making a trigger that doesn't snag when it goes (...) (16 years ago, 20-Jul-08, to lugnet.castle)

BrickFair is right around the corner, this labor day weekend in DC. I'll be coordinating the Castle display this year- so who's coming? What are you bringing? (...) I agree with, Jake. That while this is a very nice MOC with lots of detail, it is hard to pick up on some of that detail from the sky angle views looking down. I really like what you are doing here. It seems to be an impressive set-up with lots of play value as well as fine lego modelling. I especially like the double drawbridge that allows ships to pass under. I like how you suspended them from the two (...) (19 years ago, 31-Aug-05, to lugnet.castle)

The crusaders' are back with a bigger and more powerful trebuchet: (URL) improved upon their original design ((URL) and can now launch 2x2 round bricks at the enemy from as far away as 6 (human) ft.
