Re: Abston Churh of Christ in the news

(...) In February a couple members of BayLTC did a lecture on LEGO Trains at a museum in Palo Alto, CA. I got an email from the executive director a few days later asking me if I had seen Amy Hughes' church before. Apparently a museum member had (...) (20 years ago, 1-Apr-05, to lugnet.mediawatch)

Abston Churh of Christ in the news

I have a policy of ignoring media requests, but I've softened lately and granted permission for publication by three special-interest publications. One is an Ohio building trade magazine and another is a UK Christian newspaper, both of which have (...) (20 years ago, 1-Apr-05, to lugnet.mediawatch)

  Re: Art Museum

Thanks for your comments. Not too surprisingly show visitors didn't know it was supposed to be an art museum. I didn't have time to hang banners from the portico, but I'll do that before Novi GATS. There were probably 20 people who asked if it was (...) (21 years ago, 27-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Mens' magazines

I've had two "mens' magazines" ask me for hi-res pictures of my church. They seem to assume I'll be delighted with the request. One offered monetary compensation, the other apparently thought I'd be so delighted they'd just offer copies of the (...) (21 years ago, 13-Nov-03, to lugnet.publish)

Thanks, Scott. I don't really care what people say about it or me, since even those who find it as a result of some disparaging post seem to enjoy it, judging by the email I get.
