How about the yellow and black "swivel connector"?  It's a yellow 1-beam, • with
knobs at each end, and two black rings wrapped around the middle, with a knob
on each ring.  The rings can rotate independently, positioning the two knobs
anywhere around the axis of the yellow beam.  The only limit is the black
knobs must have an angle of separation at least 90-degrees.

The trouble is you only get a couple per set! They are certainly handy pieces
though. I wonder when Znap service packs will become available ;)

Since there are no 2000 Znap sets, I wouldn't hold my breath for service
packs. However, some sets have more bumble bees (yellow/black hinged
connectors) than others.

For just useful pieces, I've found the best source for black pieces (beams (8
long, 14 medium), frames (5 square, 7 triangle)) to be the Black Racer (black
frame w/yellow wheels). It also comes with a motor and flex drive axles ;-). I
think it also comes with 6 or 8 bumble bees.
