(...) No, they're creator-scale figs from the Jack Stone line. Bigger than minifigs, with the same articulation. I beleive I've heard that the feet of these figs are two studs long, if that gives you any sense of scale to regular figs (whose feet (...) I think the main problem I have is the approach Lego took in designing these sets.Compare the largers dinosaurs like the Spinosaur and Mosasaur to the smaller ones like the Raptors and Pterasaurs.
