(...) A couple of things I have noticed: The cowling/fairing around the bottom of Slave 1 does not continue beneath the rotating jet arms. This seems anomalous or is the real thing like this too? (Hasbro is merely repainting the old mold for their 3 3/4" figure line, so I assumed Lego would simply recolour the old Slave (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2002)

(...) Those "crazy curved pieces" are mateable with the new slope system, and what's better, they include *half canopy* slopes--I just wish they were in greys, not blue and green. Hmmm, am I alone in thinking that there are some really great new sets coming out this year? I just spent a little while checking out Jengo Fett's Slave I on at (URL) and I'm really impressed! Perfect canopy! (albeit a POOP, but here it's (...) (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.year.2002)
