I just received these the other day, so I thought I'd review them. 6740
Xtreme Tower is on back order, so I can't say anything about it yet.

The minifigs in this series are nice, we have:

Pepper - red torso with a pepperoni pizza, blue arms, yellow hands, blue
pants with knee pads, wears a white baseball cap. His head has red hair
and a slightly goofy smile. He sometimes has a green neck dohickey which
gives a stud on the minifigs back (or torso).

Snap Lockit - white torso with yellow flowers (or are they starfish?),
yellow arms, yellow hands, yellow legs with black waist, has a black
muffin doo. He wears cool shades and has a slanted smile. Great torso.

The Brickster - white torso with jail stripes, inmate #23768, white
arms, right hand is white, left is blue, black legs, wears a wool cap
(ok, now I need a bunch of these to go with the black zodiacs from Jack
Stone...). He has evil looking green eyes, wears glasses, and has black
sideburns, he's got a weird mouth.

Sky Lane - female, dark red torso, dark red arms, yellow hands, printing
of shirt shows bellybutton, black legs, black pony tail hair, her face
has a twisted lipstick smile and eyebrows which point in and down. A
decent minifig.

2nd Crook (unnamed so far) - white torso with black stripes, wears light
blue coveralls (which obscure his inmate number but it looks like
63109), white arms, black hands, light blue legs, wears a black pirate
doorag. Must be an oldster with a white goatee and bushy white eyebrows
and a crooked mouth.

6734 Beach Cruisers, 53 pcs, $6.99:

Snap Lockit and Pepper are included in this set. This set is a small
three wheeled sail car and a yellow skateboard. The sailcar is probably
about the best produced so far. It has trans orange "pulley" wheels with
black tires. The body uses two 4x4 tapered "boat" pieces, a 2x4 center
section, and a 2x4 plate with technic pins (making the body 12 studs
long). There is some orange trim including an orange 2x2 fancy curved
top piece. The skateboard is a little larger than 2x5 and has two studs
in the center (running the length of the board so a minifig stands
sideways of course). A grey (why not clear?) stunt stick is included
(the stunt stick is a 1x2 plate with a long rod sticking out, near the
end of the rod is a circular spot with a hollow stud). Actually, in grey
this will be a very versatile part I suspect. An extra black lever in a
red base is included. A sticker sheet provides two different stickers
for the skateboard.

6735 Air Chase, 83 pcs, $9.99:

This set includes Snap Lockit and the Brickster. The Brickster flies a
decent seaplane built with the new 2x6 curved bricks (tops and bottoms)
in white. Two 2x4 tapered plates make up the tailwing. A light blue
airplane tail decorated with a shark skeleton finishes out the tail. The
front of the plane has nice decorations with the skeletal shark also. A
trans smoke 1x2 tile forms the windscreen (kind of lame, but cool part).
The wings use white 4x9 dual tapered wing plates with a 2x4 tapered
plate on the inside end, on top is some detail with a chrome 1x2 grille
tile and a light blue 1x2 tile. The wings are hinged, and sweep back.
They get a nice rake to them, but there is a 1 stud gap between the body
and the wing which looks goofy. The pontoons use 4 grey 1x6 inverse
curved bricks, but are a little "heavy" being topped by a black 6x6
plate with grey 1x6x1 fences on top (this could be fixed by replacing
the black 6x6 plate with black (or better, grey) 1x6 plates, keeping the
fences. The propeller is way too small. Other details include a light
blue 1x2 tile and a light blue 1x2 tile with raised rod.

Snap Lockit flies a powered hang glider very similar to 6585. It has
orange wings, a black handle, and a red 2x2 curved top piece with an
Xtreme Island Stunts logo. Instead of the rods sticking back that 6585
has, it has two black 1x2 plates with horizontal rod.

The seaplane is ok, but definitely needs some work. This set is a good
source of parts, with bunches of the new curved system pieces, some
light blue parts, 10 2x4 tapered plates (1 pr white, 1 pr blue, 3 pr
black), 1 pr orange 4x8 tapered wing plates, the light blue tail, and a
couple nice minifigs.

6736 Beach Lookout, 86 pcs, $12.99

This set includes Snap Lockit and Pepper. A beach lookout is built on a
light yellow (cream) 8x16 baseplate. It stands on 4 black slanted
supports. The building part is built in light yellow from 2 2x6 bricks,
6 1x2 bricks, and 2 1x1x5 columns. The roof and floor are dark grey 6x8
plates. A dark grey 2x4 medium slope is printed with some controls and a
radar screen. Snap Lockit sits on a swiveling red chair on the roof,
armed with binoculars and a walkie talkie. A light yellow 3x4 low slope
is decorated with the Island Xtreme Stunts logo on the roof. A pair of
red 1x6 curved top bricks finishes the "cockpit" Snap sits in. On the
beach is a bracket for an orange surfboard with a yellow sticker with
the logo is provided. Pepper rides a jetski which uses two yellow 1x6
inverse curved bricks and a yellow 2x3 inverse low slope for the hull.
On top, it is decorated with two orange 1x6 curved top bricks and a 2x2
curved top piece The orange curved pieces are printed with the logo on
the 2x2 piece and themed stripes on all three pieces. A dark grey shark
is included, and a yellow triangular shark warning sign on the beach
alerts all to this fact (nice little detail). A small dock is on the
beach which has a ramp made from a dark grey "solar panel" (the long
panel used in the Space Port satellites). An orange life ring hangs from
the beach lookout.

This set is a little pricey for what you get, but the details are nice.
Combined with 6738, a decent amount of light yellow is available.

6737 Wake Rider, 91 pcs, $12.99

The Brickster and Sky Lane are included in this set. This set makes a
nice high powered speed boat (6x23 studs). It uses a white 5x6 boat bow
brick on grey plates. The deck is blue plates. The front top is
streamlined with a pair of white 3x12 curved top bricks decorated with
the Brickster's skeletal shark. There are two very powerful engines,
each made using 2 printed black 2x2 fancy sloped top pieces, a chrome
1x2 grille tile, 2 grey 1x1 cones, a black propellor, and a black
grilled Jack Stone decorative piece. Between the engines is a 2x2 spool
with a line to run back to a tow handle (which uses a hook and a small
handle. A secret compartment in front of the engine holds a wrench. The
new Jack Stone steering wheel is used. An unprinted black 2x2 fancy
slope protects the Brickster from the spray. Sky Lane rides an orange
surf board for which the same sticker is provided as for 6736. A dark
grey 6x8 extreme low slope forms a ski jump and comes with a pair of
stickers for decoration. A pair of black 2x2 cones topped by a trans
orange 1x1 plate provide some buoys.

Again, this set is somewhat overpriced, but is pretty decent. The
cockpit of the boat could use a little work, but overall, this is one
nice looking boat.

6738 Skateboard Challenge, 111 pcs, $19.99

This set includes Pepper, Sky Lane, and the unnamed crook. This set
makes up a decent skate park, though it is not nearly as large as the
large Mega Bloks skate parks.

The main feature is a grey half pipe. The two half pipe parts are
8x11x6. At the top and bottom edge, three Technic holes allow for strong
connection possibilities. There is a 2x2 "tube" area in the center if
additional sturdiness is felt necessary. These parts are nice and sturdy
(I don't actually have any of the Mega Bloks sets for comparison, but I
suspect these are sturdier). One half of the half pipe is supported by a
tower made from 5 light yellow 2x4 bricks and 5 light yellow 1x4 bricks
(cool - bricks!). Light yellow open steps lead up to a red platform. A
light yellow 1x6 brick, a black 1x6x5 slope, and a black 1x10 brick are
also used in the tower. The platform has a railing made from a pair of
black 1x1 bricks, a pair of black 1x1 tiles with clip on top, and a
length of dark grey flex tube. A dark grey 2x2x10 triangular lattice
tower supports a light bar. The other side of the half pipe is supported
by 2 light yellow 1x2x5 columns (why when bricks were used on the other
side?) and has a red platform also. Another light tower stands on this
platform. A black slide leads down. The slide sits on a turntable and a
dark grey 4x4 tile with studs on one edge. A dark grey 1x3 brick is
printed with a CD/radio and a dark grey "telephone handle" forms the
handle. A dark grey trash can and radar dish lid are included.

A secondary feature is a curved ramp made from 4 dark grey 2x8x2 curved
top pieces, some tiles, and 2 black 1x4x2 roll bar fences. This is
hinged, for some reason.

Three skateboards are included (yellow, blue, and orange). 3 stunt
sticks are also included. And each figure has a dohickey with a stud on
the back, Pepper's is green, the other two are black. The sticker sheet
includes 6 stickers for the skate boards, and stickers for the ramps and
slide. Apparently the skate boards are made by O'gel. The instructions
show some nice alternate stunt obstacles.

This set seems pricey, but there are a bunch of nice large parts (2 half
pipe pieces, a slide, 2 lattice towers) so it's probably reasonably
priced. Hopefully this line will be extended since I think one of the
strengths of the Mega Bloks sports sets is the extensive line. The 2nd
crook is a nice addition.

6739 Truck & Stunt Trikes, 210 pcs, $29.99

This set includes Pepper, Sky Lane, and the Brickster. This set makes
one of the best truck cabs I've seen from LEGO. The truck is basically 8
wide (though the cab is only 6 wide) and orange. It starts with a pair
of yellow 1x16 Technic beams, and is about 19 studs long overall. The
hood uses 2 orange 1x6 curved pieces, and 2 orange 2x6 curved pieces. A
chrome 1x4x2 fence with studs forms a grille with some 1x2 corrugated
bricks behind it. The front bumper is made with 2 1x2x1.3 curved top
bricks, a 1x8 orange plate, 2 antifreeze 1x2 plates and a yellow 1x2
grille tile. The cab is built up of orange bricks and has orange 1x3x2
truck doors. A trans smoke 2x6x2 windscreen is used and the roof is
orange. Mirrors are made from 2 red 1x1 plates with clip for horizontal
rod, covered by a trans smoke 1x2 tile. They clip to a black 4L rod,
which clips into an orange 1x2 brick with side clip. Two chrome exhausts
plug into orange 1x1 Technic beams in the cab. The rear window is a
black 1x4x3 train window (without glass unfortunately, too bad it didn't
include trans smoke glass...). 2 black 1x6 curved top bricks form the
rear deck of the truck. On the orange roof is a red 2x2 curved top piece
with the Xtreme Island Stunts logo printed on it. Beside it are two loud
hailer horns. Two dark grey ribbed Jack Stone pieces form fuel tanks.

The trailer is a bit of a let down, being based on a dark grey Jack
Stone flatbed trailer. It has side walls which fold down made of orange
4x8 plates. Several orange low slopes (1x3 and 2x3) decorate the
trailer. A white trike and a yellow trike are included. The Brickster's
white trike is souped up with two chrome elbow pipes for exhaust.

This set stars off with a very strong truck cab, but is let down by the
trailer. The trailer base could be a start for a decent trailer I guess,
and it certainly affects the cost of the set.
