Yeah, I saw that. http://www.lego.com/inmotion It's a de-badged Ford
Expedition. It's designed cooperatively between Lego and Johnson Systems,
which I'd never heard of but is apparently good with automotive interior
type stuff.
If they want to sell many they'll need to put it in a minivan though,
SUVs are generally bought by people, like me, who should have a minivan but
can't give up their 'manliness'. Of course I really do need a SUV because I
go off-road, get alot of snow, more excuses, etc.:) I just think most of
the people who buy an SUV aren't going to buy a Lego because !TOY! pops into
most men's heads and that defeats the hidden purpose of their SUV.
In 2001 Lego will not be an automotive company in the same sense as Ford,
General Motors(blah!), or Daimler Chrysler. Lego simply wants to become the
best/best known children's company.
