Store sales send no message to Lego, since the discount comes out of the
store's profit, they pay Lego the same price whatever they retail it for.
And how many of us pay retail anyway? I always wait for the next sale...
never more than a few weeks away (especially at this time of year!).

| Hey Guys, I have a challenge for you for 2001. Do not pay retail for any sets in 2001. This of course does not apply to promo, HTO, or S@H exclusives (you are lucky to get a deal on these items) But what I am aiming for is a year that I do not walk (...) (24 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.year.2001)
