(...) I like the 4 plain white R2 head (cylinder tops). I was using the printed R2 head for a dome in a microscale, and it looks, well, *unique* but a white one will be nice too. (...) I found one similar to it at the East Lansing Meijers in Michigan, except it had a actual set with it...it had 7311, a rovewr that used r2 heads for wheels, and an alien hover-ski-thing. Alien discovery I think. BTW , when is LoM goinna get (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-01, to lugnet.year.2001)

The new Mania magazine has a section on page 4 about an exclusive 'alien encounter kit' available from Quaker. Send in 24 packets from instant oatmeal (I suppose I could make oatmeal cookies with it?). Looks like an alien on a small hovercraft and a (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jan-01, to lugnet.year.2001)

I took my first really close look at the Life on Mars human sets today in a Target, and had to struggle to keep from laughing out loud. I had never noticed the little symbol on the circular tile before. The LEGO-ized version of da Vinci's famous (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jan-01, to lugnet.year.2001)
