No, it is just a high intensity LED. It is the brightest orange
LED I've seen, but was quite a bit dimmer than I had hoped.
So of course I hacked one apart and put a _real_ laser pointer
inside, although more than half the beam is blocked because
of the way the exit hole is offset. But it looks much better than
the washed-out orange LED. Now I need to design a switch so I
can control it from an RCX.
