12/1/03 Ross and I took full advantage of a week off at Thanksgiving to start
and finish the fountain module. What a whirlwind build! We began testing the
track, and we also tested Ross’ GP50 and got it to pull 9 Bethgons. It would
probably pull more on a larger layout; as it is 9 cars puts the train in 3 of
the 4 curves! Now it is time to rework and finish the waterfall module.
11/1/03 The Subway module is sealed up and the street and sidewalks are
finished. We will go back and light up some stairways and put in some subway
signs, but other than that the module is complete:-)
10/23/03 Ross has successfully hooked up the subway station with LED lights-- it
looks terrific. Now we need to seal up that module and begin working on the end
fountain module!
7/31/03 Wow, it’s been a while since the last update. It has been a busy summer
for work and so progress on the layout has been slow. We did entertain a special
guest today-- Brian Williams of the NILTC stopped by from Chicago to check out
the layout. Thanks for stopping by, Brian!
5/13/03 I have completed the construction of all of the buildings that will
appear on the TCLTC layout--22 in all.
