Re: My Latest MOC-- a Chateau

(...) Thanks, JT. (Already apologized for the pic quality:/) It is mostly white; the corners, base, and trim are gray (too bad it isn't all gray; how nuts would that be to have *that* many gray 1x2x2 windows!) As it is, the chateau uses 330 1x2x2 (...) (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: My Latest MOC-- a Chateau

John, Great job on the Chateau, I stumbled across it this morning on Brickshelf and was very impressed with the ornate details around the doors and windows. Is it gray or white?   My Latest MOC-- a Chateau

This MOC is a departure for me in a couple of ways. Normally, I build trains and train related stuff. After having been to LLC this past summer, I became inspired to create a building that had miniland detail in it, but was minifig scale. So I built (...) In lugnet.org.ca.nalug, Michel Magnan writes: <snip> (...) Things are falling into place nicely for the kid's play area at SuperTrain2001. (...) I hope so too...here is the link, the photos are a bit cruddy-I might try again, but it is kind of hard to get the entire train in a single frame. (URL) Geocities is frustrating the heck out of me!) James (24 years ago, 24-Dec-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.trains.org)

Though the gray tables were not part of the main layout, we used it to run some "extra" tracks (2 peanut shaped, one freeflow) and a Christmas themed train, a "race" train (very fast) and some extra trains laying around.   Re: Announcement for Train Event in Braunschweig/Germany

(...) Dear Todd, I'm sorry I did not take notice of that open date so far. The people of our club have done the first train event in late 1997 (on Dec. 27th till 29th). But the club has been formed in early December 1999. So the date of 1999-12-09 (...) (24 years ago, 17-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.loc.de)
