(...) GATS - I'm not sure if there were two catagories or not. There were only 4 clubs (maybe 5) with layouts and we were shocked when we discovered we won third place! (27 years ago, 16-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains.org)

(...) Yup. I wonder if they *will* survive another decade? When I came to UTK in 1993 the ratio of Macs to PCs in the student labs was around 10 to 1, maybe worse.
