OK, OK before this gets out of control....yes it was just a joke, and was
really more of an inside joke with me and one of my fellow club members, not
really meant to be a joke to fool the LUGNET community, even thought I used
the newsgroup to carry out my leg pulling on my club member. I never
intended for some an obscure post to get so much attention. And really I
forgotten that April Fools day was just a week away, or I might have waited.

Jason and Kai your both very bright boys and yes "koodles" to you both for
noticing right away that I would never make it as a counterfeit artist.

Now go out and pick up some trash! :)

Tim,
It was only an april fools joke.  If you were reading the thread Josh • Baakko
pointed out how someone had gone through a lot of trouble just to prove • it
was a fake, but did not realize the fact that it was an april fools • joke.  I
was merely closing that with "It was just an April Fools Joke • HaHaHaHaHa."

Didn't realise it was an April Fools joke?  It's March.  As in, the month
prior to April.  That has to be one of the saddest attempts at an April • Fool
I've ever seen.

Yeah...
Why would he go though the trouble:
"If you zoom in, you'll see that the top and bottom edges of the middle • sign
drop by a whole pixel from left to right, yet the text on it is exactly
horizontal.  Also the three 'r's in the text are pixel-for-pixel • IDENTICAL."

Zoom in? Like i care that much!

Josh

Don't then.  But trouble?  Copy -> Paint Shop Pro -> Paste -> Zoom.  All • of
ten seconds, without taking my hand of the mouse.  The only reason I put • the
explanation up was because even after two sarcastic replies, including:
http://news.lugnet.com/trains/org/?n=1316
people were still taking it seriously.

And how much trouble was it to fake it in the first place?  Obviously not
enough, or it wouldn't have been so obvious.  I just don't understand why,
when for a little effort in picking up litter you can have your club name • on
a sign, someone would go to the bother of faking it.  As hoaxes go, it's
hardly Piltdown Man or P.T. Barnum's 'see the amzing egress', is it? • Saying
"oh it's an April fool" doesn't make it any less weak.  Anyway, how much
trouble would it have been to wait for April 1st before putting it up?

And for those of us who need explaining of english words
"end of subject means -let us end this subject before it turns into a • bad
thread"

Kai

No, it means "I want the last word on the subject".  Cheer up.  And how
about an explanation of English grammar constructs too?  I thought the
license plates were much better, btw.  Should have just stuck with those. • :)
