Although I am not really in SoCal, I am not as far as the rest of the train
guys from the BayLTC. I don't think I can get my town layout done in time
to offer to bring it, but I might be able to loan some rolling stock and
maybe even a building or two, depending on how far along my layout is by
then. With a Southern California Lego Train Club, we would become the first
state to have 2 LTCs and we could even have a statewide train club meeting
in Fresno (my home town!) as it is centrally located.
On a side note, I want to publicly thank Aaron Hines, who came down today
and stayed until we build 75% of 2 town modules and 33% of a third module.
I am assuming your group is using the PNLTC style tables for your layouts.
Is that correct? I have a few of those tables I made that I am looking to
get rid of, as I am using a different table design now. Let me know if you
are interested in them and we can work something out. (I think there are
four 45"x45" and three 30"x45" tables, plus a bunch of legs)

PS: Let me know when you are having your first official meeting and I will
see if I can make it down.

| For many months now, Sean Nealon and I have been thinking of creating a Southern CA LTC. We first met at the Legofest in 1999. What we hope to achieve, albeit a short notice, is an entrance in this year's Del Mar Fair, just a few miles from LL-CA. (...) (25 years ago, 15-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)
