The capacitor can be used to run lights in a train if you run an RCX to power the rails - that way, the lights will be full brightness. That's assuming the cap has a diode to allow current only one way, otherwise you'd have to add one to the wire (...) (24 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)
