That is great point. However, the tracks would need to be spaced 4 radial
studs from each other for the path to remain truly parallel to one another
throughout an entire circle, and I'm not sure how wide a monorail train for
this single 4.5v track would be. Parallel double curves for independent
trains are something no LEGO train system, that I know of, has had. To be able
to lay smooth parallel curves would be very nice.

I'm not sure if my loose idea would work or not, and I simply don't think I can
visualize nor describe the drive mechanism to my working satisfaction with
trying to actually build it. Unforeseen issues.
