Has anyone built a LEGO model of a pantograph-powered train and actually
powered it with overhead lines?

| (...) Have thought about it.. some non LEGO elements would be required as there is no exposed conductor wire available from LEGO and no easy way to get current off one even if there were. (25 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

| Ben, Hi. A couple years ago I installed caternary over most of my layout. The support masts are all Lego elements but the wire is not. I use HO scale Maerklin pantographs to pick-up power on the engines (see "(URL) A wire runs down into the motor (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)
